I've finally made it back to Writers Digest Conference, here in my old hometown of Baltimore, Maryland!  I've learned so much about the craft of writing, the publishing business and the best part - networking with other writers, editors and successful authors. I've learned so much and had so many great conversations. If you're an aspiring writer, I highly recommend this conference! I even got to meet Jean Kwok (Girl in Translation). She was incredibly sweet and took the time to give me helpful advice about my work. 

In other news, I'm excited to announce that I've sold a short story to HorrorSmith magazine!  As you may already know, the horror genre is my first love and this magazine was my top choice!
